  1. I loved seeing your kids! And I laughed as the scariness progressed! What a gorgeous view from your house. We loved our time in CA, even though we were down in Dixie. Hope you had a great holiday!

  3. Kazzy--call me ignorant ('twould be apt) but I didn't know there was a Dixie in California. If it's down south, it's like it's own state, anyway. I lived there for over three years but geography is so not my thing (and, yes, the view from our front gate is pretty spectacular!) Tina--thank you for saying so! I pretty much thinks she does but she is far prettier!

  5. I was just referring to the south as "Dixie" like we do here in Utah and back where I am from in VA. Sorry to confuse you.

  7. Lisa--it was fun but I had too much wheat and there is lots left over and I feel compelled to eat it and my suffering is intense. I have only myself to blame. :) Kazzy, yes, SoCal, Dixie, I get it! I like it! Don't worry about confusing me--it's my natural state. Hillary--do you really think so? Between my blog and facebook, you are the third person to say so. I think it might be true! (poor Mary!)

  9. Heather & Becky--you should be terrified--some of the food was pretty bad. The pasta just didn't cook right for some reason. The witchs brooms rolls and the cake were both divine, though.
