I woke up this morning and realized that I started this blog two weeks ago. Clearly, a two week anniversary calls for a contest. I was toying with the idea of doing it for my one month blogiversary but why wait? If this is fun, I will do another one then.

So, to have a chance at winning a fab Target gift card for the audacious price of (don't expect too much, my husband is a school teacher) *$15* (like I said . . .) just comment to this post by 5:00 pacific standard time on Friday the 9th of May (2008) and tell us what you call your little darlings. Or big darlings. For example, I call my sons "the boys" and the girl "my daughter". The pioneer woman calls her kids her "punks". Maybe you have fun nicknames for each of your young un's. So, let us in on whether you think the word "kids" is just for goats and prefer "children" instead, or if you have some wacky, zany, word all your own.

The winner will be determined by making a slip of paper for each response by 5:00 PM pst, folding it crisply several times and dumping it into a hat for random withdrawal. Unless I can't find a hat (we aren't big hat wearers around here) then I will use a paper bag, a tupperware bowl or whatever else I have handy at the moment.
