Why You Should Never Feed a Gremlin and other Cautionary Tales

Posted by Heidi in

This is the Big Guy seated next to The Spouse. Mind you, The Spouse is 6 feet tall with average size hands and feet, and no, he is not the pinhead he appears to be when seated next to the Big Guy.

Look at the Big Guy's feet.

Check out the spread of those toes.

The massivesness of his head.

Even without the hair, it is a larger than normal head.

(While you're at it, ignore the mess on the table and my daughter's laundry basket which she has tossed there whilst squeezing out some clean clothes between the trip she embarked on today and the one from which she returned last night.)

In light of this picture, can someone please tell me why, (slowly and in short words) how these two could possibly be the same height? Is it some kind of math problem? Because, if it were, I could understand not getting it. Math and I, we don't do lunch if you see where I'm going with that.

Meanwhile, I'm just plain scared.

This is very simple....The Spouse has longer legs and the Big Guy has a longer body...Now that wasn't so hard was it...thank heavens no math was involved!!

OK, after looking at the picture again, perhaps their bodies are the same length but Roy definitely has longer legs...that's my final thought on this subject. Debbie

Yup, you got me, The Spouse has long legs and an average body length while the Big Guy has average legs and a truly long trunk. When he was little, I could never buy him outfits that had pants and a body piece--the legs would either be wayyyy too long or the snaps wouldn't stay snapped.
