If you are looking for Heidi, you will have to wait. She is off to be loved, feted, adored and petted all the day long. She has groups of friends, as well as various individuals, who are taking her out to breakfast followed by brunch, lunch, high tea, supper and then a candlelight dinner with her husband and children.
Each and every meal will consist of wheat enrobed in chocolate in all manner of intoxicating combinations. In addition, there will be wheat dishes enriched with garlic, rosemary and pesto and other mouth-watering Italian seasonings, plus breads of every size, shape and description.
There will be music, singing and dancing and the moon will spin backwards on it’s axis until it returns to it’s glorious full state in honor of the birthday girl, whereupon she and her sweetheart will send the willing and oh-so-cooperative children to bed then make toasts to each other in the moonlight, their goblets filled with chocolate nectar.
The stars in their eyes will rise up into the firmament into a seemingly random pattern which will presently be revealed to represent the number 44. Soft oohs and aahs will escape their chocolate saturated lips and on that note, the beginning of the best year ever will commence.
So, go away and come back tomorrow to read all about her lovely day. That is, if she can get herself from the bed to the computer, her head spinning, after all the wheat has set her muscles on fire and turned her brain to paste.

Man, I guess a cake and a new pair of socks just sounds boring... Now I feel sad... jk. Hope you had a very chocolatey, scrumptious day!
Happy Birthday! Send some chocolate covered wheat my way!
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Heidi, happy birthday to you!
Enjoy your day and I hope you're not tooo miserable tomorrow. (is it fast Sunday for you guys? that would help, right?)
Becky--we wouldn't want to put too much pressure on the poor guy would we? I don't know him but I have pity for him, just the same. Kazzy-a new pair of socks sounds good right about now. You can find out tomorrow about how real life does NOT match up with fantasy--ha ha!
Christine--thanks but I am keeping all the chocolate and wheat to myself because that's all I've got.
Hillary, thank you darling--it isn't--in fact it is Cathe's last day and Val is making his sugar cookies so I'll be extending my wheat eating until after that. : )
Happy happy birthday Heidi dear,
Happy days will come to you all year.
If I had a wish, that wish would be,
A happy happy birthday to you from me!
It might be total chaos in primary tomorrow due to it being our last day in primary together- So I thought I'd sing you your birthday song just in case they forget. Hope you have a wonderful day, and don't forget your skittles tomorrow!
Happy birthday Heidi!
... on behalf of the (extended) family
... who can spell your name.
Just hope enough chocolate was involved.
It is amazing what a little chocolate can do to ones perspective of everyday occurrences. I hope that everyone and everything matched up perfectly to your chocolate induced state of delirium, you of all people deserve nothing less.

April, thank you so much! You are such a sweetie! Rott Weiler, you are my favorite dog who's not a dog. : ) Roxanne, you sure are nice to me! I don't know what I did to deserve it but I like it! Thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes and a special thank you to my new blog followers--AJ--I have a man on the team now! Woo hoo!
Happy Birthday! You make it sound like a taste adventure...mmm....I do love me some wheat.
Hope it's as fabulous as you anticipate it being!
Kimberly, thank you! The taste adventure is due to the wheat deprivation for the past 6 mos-- it also meant pain deprivation but I sure am feeling it now! It was worth it. I think.
