You Know You Have a Book Coming Out When . . .

. . . your ARCs (advanced readers copies) arrive and you find that you have to
sit down and read it right this very minute
-- even though you know every single word

. . . you feel like a hypocrite for not reading blogs,
full well knowing you are about to start a spate of manic blogging for
the book blog tour (and the guilt is killing you) . . .
You realize all of your latest clothing purchases coordinate with the colors of
your book cover.

I TOTALLY thought they were real! Oh well - still a great cover. I think it's more important to be feeding your soul with your own creativity and actualization of talent than to spend hours a day commenting on blogs (note to self...) Anyway - I take no offense. I reread the first book last sunday and then got all excited and ordered the new book a few days ago. I'm kind of sad that I don't have it in my sweaty little palms RIGHT NOW. But I'll just have to manage my anxiousness until it gets here. And someday, when I meet you in real life, I will bring my books and force you to autograph them. :)
