Easter Is A Time Of New Beginnings

Posted by Heidi in

The sweet-smelling lilacs that have lain dormant for eleven months are renewed.

The roses burst into leaf and begin their riotous bloom.

Geraniums push bravely through the rain and snow to be one of the first heralds of spring.

It is no accident that Easter comes at spring-time.

Hope you enjoyed your Easter! I'm currently at Almanak's and enjoying it very much (a la Miss Delacourt).

Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers and I LOVE their smell.
The rose in the vase looks almost like the photo of the rose on your first Miss Delacourt book.
